The atmosphere is very inviting, however the food and the price were disappointing. The spaghetti and meatballs were very mushy and overcooked. The chicken Parma was well done, but again the side of spaghetti was overcooked. The bread was the best part of the meal. Everyone was very nice the waitress was very kind and adapting, it just couldn't make up for the bad food and price.

Ordered takeout with my family. I got gluten free pasta and my dad got a similar pasta dish. Both were made with Penne and they did not label which was gluten free. We based it off of the cheese and basil on top of one of them. Turns out, they flipped our orders. I spent the night sick, because they didn't label the orders, and switched my pasta.

A very good restaurant is always busy. I was turned away because it was too busy regardless of patience in willing waiting. So in efforts to find out if it's really that good I tried to make a reservation for 4 the following day. Without 5 a reservation was not allowed and they said we could try to get in by calling before hand sometime tomorrow but doubt it could be accomplished. Hmmm ok I can eat elsewhere. So one star isn't accurate because I wasn't able to be accommodated for 4. Thanks, I tell everyone how good it's supposed to be but good luck getting seated. I guess that's what the restaurant wishes to portray. My patronage can go elsewhere.

Great atmosphere, amazing Italian deli. Casual/upscale. Excellent service. Ordered fettucini Alfredo. Amazing. The sauce was perfect. My friend ordered fettucini a meat sauce and meatballs (not on the menu) and loved it.

Great food- carryout or eat in. I just love this place. The pizza is great, especially the Padrino. We have done carryout a lot and the subs are great and big (love the chicken parm and meatball). I think the prices are reasonable and the restaurant has a low key atmosphere.

We've been coming to OC for years and have finally found the real deal. Authentic Italian fare. Don't let the fact that it's located in the Holiday Inn deter you. Great atmosphere, excellent service, best food in town. Calamari melts in your mouth. Friggin amazing.

Yes! Finally a fantastic Italian place at the beach. They have homemade pastas, an Italian deli with bakery in the front, and an open view of the pizza oven. LOVE the gnocchi with an alfredo-like sauce, both as an appetizer and as a meal. Fried prosciutto wrapped mozzarella is another delicious app - 3 per order. Chicken parm is huge, tender, and so delicious. The sauce on it is thin, which I do prefer. Side of homemade pasta was good, but not al dente. Pizza was great. Cannoli filled to order were stellar. Everything was just perfect, and I will absolutely go back.

4.5 stars. What a great Italian restaurant in Ocean City. I've been to the Rehoboth location once before and liked it very much. Took my fiancé here for dinner and think we've found our go to place. Yes, it's in a holiday inn hotel, but don't let that deter you to try this place. The moment you walk in (hostess stand is near lobby of hotel) the smell of cheese and pizza hit you right when you walk in. Mmmmm. The complimentary bread is nice and warm and their pastas are made from scratch. We had an Italian Cosmo drink and was so smooth and tasty. Could have drank 3 of them! The orecchiette pasta with broccoli rabe and homemade sausage (you can buy sausage from their deli case too!) was delicious. Only minus was way too much EVOO. Pasta was so good. The bartender lady was very friendly and made our dinner very enjoyable. Will have to try their pizzas next time!

Stopped here to grab some supplies to cook dinner 1 night while in town on vaca. We grabbed a salad to go to share and some bread. Also some cannoli that are filled to order. I could have spent a couple hundred dollars in there because it is somewhat expensive. Everything seemed very high quality and is most likely worth the premium price.

My boyfriend and I came here on a Friday night at 9PM and were seated right away. When you walk in they have a deli and pastry counter which is pretty cool. The desserts looked good. The place itself was dimly lit, nice and cozy. It is attached to a hotel but that's not a problem at all. We were starving so we split a house salad, it was fresh and yummy. The server was a nice guy, quick and efficient. He brought us bread which was warm, crusty on the outside and soft on the inside. We ordered calamari for the appetizer and it was EH. We ate it up because we were starving but never again. We are Greek and we are calamari snobs. You could tell these were frozen and they were undercooked on the inside and a bit over cooked on the outside. The breading was almost close to burned and inside it was mushy. Not a firm texture as it should be. It came with a sauce and I pretty much drowned my calamari in it and shoved it in my mouth. Normally if we hate the calamari my BF will send it right back to the kitchen. Like I said we were starving. My BF ordered fettuccine Alfredo and added chicken. He was going to add shrimp but the waiter said they would be small shrimp and only 3 so we figured chicken would be the better deal. I ordered a pesto dish with fusilli pasta and added grilled chicken to mine. The fettuccine was ok, have had worse and definitely have had better. It was thick with sauce. It had too much heavy thick cream Alfredo sauce. My pasta was fine , tasted like pesto but was missing something. It was a little bland so I put on Parmesan cheese which helped a bit. The grilled chicken was bland and NOT grilled chicken. It tasted more like boiled chicken pieces. Most likely frozen. We paid about 70.00 for this meal. We drank sodas so for the price , not super pricey, about right for Italian fare in Ocean City. So it served its purpose but overran gross calamari and definitely not the best Italian food. It's typical ocean city italian food. We won't be back. We might stop in just to pick up a pastry to go. That's it.

4.5 stars. I love to give credit where credit is due. Julie was the best server I could have ever asked for. It was our last day in Ocean City and we were referred to Touch of Italy by a local. The place is huge and they are known to serve fresh pastas and Italian cuisines. She also mentioned how Food Network star Ciro Verdi was the inspiration for the entire menu. Appetizers: 1) The mussels in a white wine sauce was fantastic. It was a nice change since we were having a lot of the tomato based sauce throughout our Maryland vacation. Oh, please do ask for extra bread. They bread and olive oil they used was amazing. We must have ordered at least 3 extra bread for the different sauce on our table. 2) The prosciutto wrapped in mozzarella was really good but a little bit on the salty side. 3) Calamaris were fried to perfections. The batter was crispy and seasoned very nicely. Entrees: 1) Cousin said the chicken parm was really good and juicy. 2) Uncle said the salmon was delicious. The salmon skin was very crispy and inside was juicy. 3) Aunt wasn't too crazy about her pasta dish with pesto sauce, but she did mentioned that the pasta was fresh. 4) We also ordered 2 thin crust pizza - Prosciutto/Arugula and Sausage. Definitely order the sweet sausage one! It was bursting full of flavor Desserts: 1) MUST ORDER THE TIRAMISU when dinning in! This was the best recommendation that Julie gave us. One thing to note, these tiramisu are different from the tiramisu cakes in the front bakery of the restaurant. The ones in front sells tiramisu mini cakes for $10 and the tiramisu slice that we ordered dinning in was also $10 (a lot smaller, but so worth it). They used Italian cookies instead of lady fingers and it's a lot flatter but the taste of the liqueur was absolutely amazing. 2) Julie probably gave us the biggest piece of chocolate eclair and it was good but I felt the cream was a little too thick and sweet for my liking but my cousin loved it. I was skeptical about eating Italian food in a seafood city but it was one of the better restaurants I've been to during the trip. Love meeting random locals and discussing what are the best local restaurants. Will be using other's recommendations for future trips as well.

They have fresh pasta, pizza and deli sandwiches. Dine in or carry out. So far I have enjoyed everything I have eaten here. My favorite is the desserts. You can buy cookies and cannoli by the pound or their awesome cakes. My favorite is the Italian wedding cookie. It's really a cake about two bites worth layered with Italian flag colors and another layer of chocolate. It also has a hint of almond - delicious!!!

  • Eddie K.

Food and service a solid four star experience. I highly recommend the pizzas. The Campagnola pizza was good as well as the Al Bianco- if you love anchovies it's an additional buck. The subs are huge. One can feed two easily. The Italiano was good- meat fresh and at room temperature. Next time I am going to order this with oil and vinegar, hot peppers and mayo. It just comes with the meat and cheese with little EVVO. Service was fast and friendly.

Great Italian bakery and real deal Italian deli. Restaurant has good wine list and wood fire oven . Even though they don't have a kids menu they will help and make a smaller size portion of many items on menu. Service was great.

It moved up in the stars! I did ask for more sauce on my clam pasta when I ordered it & was glad I did! It was really tasty!!! The bread was delicious & so was the charcuterie tray. I would suggest that for at least 4 people, it is a very large appetizer. My husband got the flank steak & he said it was great. I tasted the sauce & pasta that was with it & it was very good. My friend got the gluten free pasta with clams & she was delighted with it. Her husband got the chicken parm & was absolutely stuffed when he finished it. Smiles were had by all!! We will definitely be back.

I have been coming to OCMD For over 10 years and this was the best Italian meal we have had here. This is definitely going to be our go to place. From the ambiance to the service, the salads, pasta, pizza, bread and desert were all fabulous and fresh. Great meal!!

Wake up Ocean City Maryland! There's a Top Shelf Italian Restaurant in town! Today we stopped in with our elderly parents, my brother and I. Upon first entering it put me in mind of Carmine's of NYC. Especially the aroma that filled my senses. The cuisine was that good too! I had the Caprese for starters and it was obviously fresh homemade mozzarella. I then dove into the Pollo alla Contadina that danced on my taste buds...just awesome flavors with it's roasted chicken and sweet Italian sausage. We were eating off each other's plates sampling the great food..."try this"..."you gotta try this one!" Dad ordered the authentically thin crust pizza cooked in the wood burning brick oven for all to see, as it is the center piece of the dinning area. He raved about the taste and crispy crust that was just the way he likes it. On the way out Mom had us take a lap around the authentic deli and bakery for your carry out pleasure. Wow! It all looked awesome! Great job Don D. The service was top shelf! The environment was Primo and the food was FIRST CLASS! Fresh, Fresh, Fresh!!! We will return every chance we get! You should too if you appreciate "authentic" Italian cuisine as much as we do and we are Greeks!

We were hungry for Italian ~ so stepped into this restaurant. We came in through what we thought was the entrance door. It actually brought you into their mini food store of sorts...the main entrance was actually via the connecting hotel. Not seeing a whole lot on the menu that screamed, "order me!" I ordered the lentil soup and the hubster ordered Cheese Ravioli. We were served our glass of wine and a plate of bread while we waited. The wine was delish. The bread...not so much. They roll this mini loaf of bread in a strong olive oil then bring it to your table. Hmmm, I didn't realize a hand olive oil treatment was part of the experience ~ seriously, not cool. So we requested another plate of bread "without the oil please". We'll dip our own!! Our waiter was not pleased with our request (his tone of repeating our request spoke volumes). Our dishes were brought out and I asked if they had "fresh grated" parmesan cheese. Our waiter brought out what I can only compare to Kraft parmesan powder cheese! Really?! Not what I expected at a true Italian restaurant!! The hubster enjoyed his cheese ravioli even though the raviolis were small. Needless to say we were not at all impressed.

Waited an hour for a table for 2. We figured it was worth the wait based on the wait time and the great reviews. Boy, were we disappointed. Waitress had no personality at all. She said she would bring bread for us and never did. When I asked her for bread it was like we were bothering her. I ordered fettucine alfredo and my hubby got the chicken parm dinner. His portion was decent, but mine was on the smaller side. It had a good flavor, but the pasta was very mushy and stuck together and so was my husband's pasta. I would not return. Sorry, not worth the wait or the money in my opinion.

The food is very good...and we love the deli counter in the front where you can get meats, cheeses, desserts, etc. Do yourself a favor and get a cannoli. Next to Mancini's, they are the best cannoli in the area. Filled to order. Its always busy which is a good sign and friendly service. Prices are a little expensive, but give what used to be in this location was Reflections, it is definitely more reasonably priced than that. Definitely go.

Italian food in ocean city Maryland? I think so!!!!!! What an unexpected surprise. My entire family loved it. Home made pasta and ravioli was out of this world. Appetizers were delicious, Zuppa de mussels were the bomb. Get lots of bread your gonna need it. Lots of dippies. Main courses great. Service was awesome. Top notch experience. If I didn't live 300 miles away I'd go back soon.

Probably closer to 4.5 stars. We had a family Easter dinner here and were quite impressed. When we walked in from the exterior entrance, we knew we would like the place. They have a full scale Italian deli, olive bar and bakery with some additional packaged goods. You could smell the brick oven at work, which is uniquely on display to watch pizzas being made. After reading some negative reviews on the bread and parmesan cheese I took extra note to both. The bread was served with a dash of olive oil on, but not too much. The Parmesan cheese is pre-grated, but tasty and very fresh. They put out bowls on the table so you can have as much as you want any time during the meal. They had an affordable wine list and some nice options for appetizers and salads. The calamari was outstanding with a zesty marinara sauce. The caprese salad was amazing with house made mozzarella. The service was great and the waitress asked if we wanted the kids food out with salads and apps. The kids had pastas and salads and were really pleased. The adults had veal parm, chicken parm, Alfredo and pesto avellinesi. To say we were satisfied is an understatement. Tons of food, lots of leftovers. Very tasty. One Yelper complained that the Parms were served with an "appetizer plate of pasta". Seriously?!? While they were technically correct, it was the perfect amount to go with an enormous portion of chicken or veal...we still had some left over. The dessert selection was awesome. The kids went out to the bakery to pick out cookies, cannolis, etc. the adults shared and also got tiramisu that was some of the best I've had. We bought cookies, cheese and vodka sauce to bring home. We will definitely be back.

The food was very flavorful. The location was very clean and the atmosphere felt like you were you no longer in Ocean City but rather at some fancy restaurant. The waiters were nice and the experience was wonderful! I highly recommend this place!

We love the new Touch Of Italy in Ocean City. We have been to the one in Lewes De. many times, and we're excited to enjoy this one. The staff was very friendly, great service, and the amazing real Italian style, feel, and look of the old style Italian Restaurant and market. The food was wonderful, and the desserts are remarkable . Many choices for market take home too :) Leslie Bandiere Doyle

This is a quirky restaurant, but the food is pretty good. Delicious fresh bread came almost as soon as we sat down, accompanied by EEVO. No salt & pepper on the table; a shaker of crushed red pepper, but no Italian seasoning shaker. A long wine list, but no cocktail list. A glass of Cab @ $8 was fine, but the cosmo @ $11 needed more liquor. If you want a side salad here, you've picked the wrong restaurant; they provide you with plates if you want to split the $10 Caesar salad, a good idea since it is enough for 4 people. Our entrees (ravioli & chicken parm) were perfect, although the spaghetti side for the chicken was not cooked enough. Service was very good, with a team approach.

So, the fact that it's a Trattoria vs a Ristorante should have clued us in that it's not exactly for couples. Much more of a family Italian style restaurant. The ambience was busy and louder than we were hoping. Our fault. The bread was good, not great. The Calamari appetizer was very good and extremely large. Hubby got the prosciutto/mozzarella appetizer and it was 3 pieces of delicious! We had heard so many great reviews of the chicken parmigiana so he got it and was so happy! I got the veal parm and I was happy, but not thrilled. The wine was perfect. We ended up getting a large cannoli to go since we were both so full. Worth it! Price was quite reasonable. 2 appetizers, 2 entrees, a bottle of wine and a cannoli for $104 plus tip. Since our kids are all grown and we are enjoying "our time," we probably won't be back, but that has more to do with the ambience than the quality of the food and service.

This gem is a great find! All of the food here is amazing, you cannot go wrong from pizza to past to pastries! This is also a fantastic place to come get a lesson on the best cheeses from around the world. The people that work here know what they are talking about and the variety of world class selections is impressive. This is a great place for a special occasion, they hosted my Mother's birthday in their wine room and it was fabulous. Go in, ask to try some cheese. Go hungry/leave happy!

We love it. The food is super high quality and authentic. Some say expensive I disagree. We split a sandwich and an appetizer. The sandwiches are about $10 and huge. Great addition to OC. Good wines at happy hour for $5.

Simply fabulous! Fast service and courteous. Amazing flavor on the food. Had Fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and loved every bite of it. The ambiance was peaceful and quite pleasant. Our waiter Ivo was courteous and assured that everything we wanted was available. Recommend it highly!!!

The best Italian restaurant in the area. The food is so authentic. Pasta is made fresh daily. Everything from seafood, chicken, steak, pizza, or sandwiches. Touch of Italy would even give the restaurants in Little Italy in Baltimore a run for there money!

Overall great experience ambiance and food! The main courses were delicious and good portions, however the salads leave much to be desired, the Brasciolle was melt in your mouth delicious. Service was spot on but stay away from the salads!

I can't really put into words how horrendous this place is. One star is too much. Waited 55 mins for eggs when there were three tables of people in the entire restaurant. They never once apologized and when we asked for manager, she never came and eventually we left and ate elsewhere. Horrible. Save your money!

This is the 2nd time here since we found out it opened. The service is tops and the staff is as friendly as you can get. I have tried part of one of their salads and the #9 and #11 heroes which I ended up eating the 2nd half for dinner since they give you some really good bread to dip in EVO. My wife had some pizza, ravioli, salad and soup during the 2 visits and she loved all 4. (I'll have to say we had 4 people the first time she didn't eat all that lol) It is not often she suggests a place to eat she normally asks me and she got me here the 1st time and suggested it the 2nd time. I'm sure we will go again before the end of this coming week. Highly recommended.

My family has had the pleasure of dining in at Touch of Italy numerous times. Food and service are excellent. Let's address carry out. The pick up is in the bar and the orders are filled haphazardly. We have ordered three times. The first two times entrees were missing. We live 61 blocks north and have had to return. Tonite was the third and final time we will order takeout. We paid $15 for what was equivalent of one head of Romaine, 1/4 cup dressing and cheese. Ordered and paid for grilled chicken. ..which was left out.

My fiancé and I went to dinner here last night! The entire experience was AMAZING! The service was impeccable and the food was delicious! We skipped the appetizer and split a Caesar salad before our meals! The Caesar was crisp and fresh! It was dressed perfectly and was delicious! Our food came and was also delicious! The portions were large and filling! We got tiramisu for dessert and I would highly recommend it! So light and full of flavor! Needless to say, the next time that we visit OCMD, we will be eating at this restaurant!

Great food and atmosphere. The best choice for reasonably priced traditional Italian cuisine. The servers were friendly and gave good advice. Price was very fitting of the amazing food. The chicken parmigiana was great, and everyone enjoyed their dishes. We have been to two different establishments and both were exemplary! I would definitely recommend Touch of Italy!

Place gets two stars because it is very beautiful looking, DEFINATELY draws you in especially the huge bar, but the food was a huge let down! I can't stress enough save your money and go elsewhere. For apps we got the mixed meat meatballs(best thing we ate honestly) and the pan zeared fresh mozzarella wrapped in proscuitto(way over cooked, nothing special) for dinner we both chose the chicken breast over creamed spinach, very disappointing. Didn't have any flavor and the cannoli cake for desert, also a huge letdown, didn't taste like cannoli. I was so disappointed, it's located in our hotel (Holiday Inn) and so I thought hey doesn't get much better right?! .... but hey couldn't get much worse.

By far the best Italian food ever. Service was great, prices reasonable and the food is fantastic! They even have carry out and a mini Italian market/deli. Had to stop on the way home and pick up some olives and prosciutto stuffed pepper.. Yumm! One bit if advice, arrive hungry and plan on taking leftovers or sharing an entree since they give you HUGE portions. Keep up the great work, we will be back soon. :)

Been to both the Lewes and Rehoboth locations, recently visited the Ocean City location and the pizza was excellent as usual. Unfortunately our waiter was not. We were pretty much ignored, my daughter in law had to ask too different employees for a refill on her glass of water. Our waiter never came back after our food was delivered. We waited and waited for our check, had to go and find him to get it. Never had this problem at the other locations no matter how busy they were. We had our 17 month old grand daughter with us, and could tell immediately that the waiter was not happy to see a small child.

We had a fantastic meal! We sampled several apps, and the award winning pizza. The food was so full of flavor, more than delicious!! The atmosphere was great, service and staff knowledgeable and attentive. The owner came over and was so friendly and welcoming. We will be back!

My husband & I stopped by for dinner after overhearing some people commenting on this restaurant. They raved about the food and atmosphere so we had to give it a try. We started with calamari which was great, not chewy like you can sometimes get. We were intrigued by the focaccia pizza on the menu and loved it! Such an unusual twist on a pizza. Thin focaccia filled with robiola cheese, prosciutto, arugula and oven dried tomatoes, baked in a wood fired oven. It was great! We took half our pizza home because wanted dessert. My husband had an eclair and I had a slice of pumpkin cheesecake, YUM! From what we saw of other customer's entrees, the portion sizes were huge...especially the salads. We will definitely be back!

What a great experience. From the time we pulled into the parking lot till the time we left. Beautiful music was playing. Walking in through the deli everything smelled wonderful. Service was very professional and couldn't be more accommodating even with my gluten allergy. Food was prompt and delicious. We would certainly return.

My wife and I go to Touch of Italy locations (Lewes and Rehobeth) monthly, and find it to be a great place with great food. This was our second visit to the new OC location - it has a great bakery and restaurant, all wrapped in an Italian theme. Our server, Kelly, was very welcoming, detail oriented, knowledgeable, and customer focused. The manager of this location, Victoria, is the ultimate professional - I observed her checking in with customers in a friendly manner while managing the new staff and handling complex issues in a quiet professional manner - great job! . My wife and I had the chicken parm - it was cooked to perfection, served timely, and the taste was excellent. It was a crowded Friday night, but the hostess seated us immediately. Many thanks for another great dining experience at Touch of Italy!

We ate dinner here last night. I had the gnocchi and it really didn't have a lot of flavor. It was a bit gummy, as well. My husband ordered a pepperoni pizza and it was good. We also had a piece of cheesecake that was the best thing we ate. It was a bit pricey. We may go back off season. We weren't very impressed. I will try the carry-out, it looked great .

two weeks ago i called to complain about our visit spoke to a person who identified himself as "billie" after i explained why i was disatisfied he says when you come again and ask for me well i called today and asked for him says he will be there at the host stand well we saw "billie" who sat us down when we came in and we never saw him again thought he would of come back to see what we thought of this dinner what i felt was that it was a ploy to get us to come back and spend another $70 on our first visit we were very unhappy first off we wanted to change the salad up a bit were told that we could not do this as the chef wouldnt want to do this (i thought you always try to please the customer) next the bread was hard (stale) when we told the waitress she was unreceptive to our comments so i ordered something else from the menu that had bread in it we ordered the salmon (this was excellent) and now to the kicker we ordered the chicken parmagian it was the worst when it arrived at the table it filled the whole plate was covered in cheese with sauce that when you cut it (thats another issue) sauce went all over the table it was pounded to death you could not cut the chicken with the butter knife we asked for a steak knife at this time we told the waitress that we had a problem with it (still she was unreceptive) when we explained that it was hard to cut around the outer edges because it was hard she told us to cut it in the middle (yeah she finally had a response) you would of thought she would of offerred to get us another or at least offer us something well we paid the bill (yes we did tip 20 percent) and left in todays visit we wanted to change up the salad a bit (guess what we got the same response from this waiter) didnt think the chef would do this the salmon was great and we tried a different entree (pasta with meat sauce) this was great also so over all the food was good but i still dont see what "billie" did for us

The food here is GREAT! my boyfriend and I tried this restaurant for the first time tonight. We started with some wine and their delicious crusty bread with olive oil and Parmesan. Then we had the mozzarella wrapped in prosciutto. Both the cheese and the meat were moist and tender. Then I had the braciole with cavatelli. The sliced beef was tender and was wrapped around nuts and raisins. Such a great combination. The pasta was awesome. My boyfriend had the chicken parm, which was HUGE and covered in cheese. It came with spaghetti too. He said his dish was very good. For dessert, we shared the kitchen-made (not bakery-made, which they also have) tiramisu, as recommended by our waiter. What a great choice. It was one of the best tiramisus I've ever had. All in all, we had a fantastic dinner!

The food was out of this world! I had the Gnochi and everybody at my table wished they got what I had. They all still really enjoyed their meals, but my entree was very tasty! The wine selection that they have is great as well, and I had the Merlot imported from Italy. The interior was decorated very nicely and they had a cute little cheese deli upon entering the restaurant. This is the place to go if you are in the mood for great Italian and wonderful service.

Our pizza totally reminded me of the great pizza joints in NYC. Come to find out the chef, family and owner are from NYC so it totally made sense. I was pleasantly surprised because it is in Ocean City. The waiter was very attentive because my son has dairy, egg and peanut allergy and asked the chef what he could eat. For me, it just shows that they go the extra mile for their customers. Next time I'll try the pastas but the pizza was so good I might just order pizza again. Why mess with a good thing?

The Fiaschetto is one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Normally with prosciutto on a pizza, it's a last minute addition, and does not cook very much. For this, the prosciutto cooked along with the pie, and cooked down to a delightful salted cured taste. Amazing. Friendly staff, broad menu, and a welcome affordable level of class while in the Rehobeth area.

This place was Amazing! From the people who served us to the ambiance. This place is definitely worth checking out if you are in the Ocean City area. Not to mention that the food was extraordinarily delicious.

Interesting place...part bakery, part deli, part market, part restaurant. Everything we saw looked great from homemade desserts to brick oven pizza. Very fresh and pasta and homemade sauce were delicious. Look for the 2ft long spaghetti noodles you can buy in their market...very cool

True authentic Italian food and pastry! Absolutely delicious!! Pizza is thin, crisp crust and very tasty. Lunch sandwiches are huge! Pay the fee to share or take leftovers home. Good selection of wine, nice bar with TVs and make sure you stop at the bakery/deli shop. Some of the best pastry south of Little Italy in NYC...hidden gem in Ocean City!

When we travel we like to find good Italian restaurants (there are none where we live) and Touch of Italy is one of the best outside of NYC. I had the calzone. The crust was delicious and crispy. The cheese was a great mixture of ricotta and mozzarella. My daughter kept helping herself! Likewise the white pizza was delicious. Even the pasta was extra special. My friend was sure it was freshly made (it's not) because it was not the typical pasta. We will be back on this trip!

What an incredible looking place inside. We started off with one of the salads. Quite tasty. That is where tasty stopped. Both my wife and I had veal parmesan. What a huge disappointment. Reminded me of cheese on a piece of cardboard. The pasta was also without taste. Too bad.

The food was delicious! Unfortunately the environment was not the best. Very small tables in very close proximity to each other. My biggest complaint would have to be that the floors did not get along with the chairs! What I mean by this is that it was like sitting on a chair on ice. Very slippery and sliding around. Very uncomfortable being forced to sit a certain way so that you don't go sliding away from the table. I know I wasn't the only one with the same issue as I watched other guests sitting in the chairs and sliding and then looking at each other in confusion. Also it was very very loud even though it didn't seem that crowded because of all the voices and noises bouncing off of all the hard surfaces, walls, and floors. Other than these environmental issues the food and service was great.

Was so excited to try this place. Our waitress was high or just plain stupid. She did not know ANYTHING about the menu. We had to ask other waiters to order another drink. We ordered the eggplant appetizer and is was okay. My wife ordered the chicken parm and it was huge. I ordered the veal parm and it tasted as if it was frozen and then thawed out in the microwave. Very disappointed with the quality of food and the horrible service.

Outstanding! Loved the aroma as soon as we walked in! We enjoyed the atmosphere and loved the food!! The menu wasn't too big but had enough variety to bring us back again! This is definitely a "find"!!

Italian Cuisine

The immense popularity of Italian cuisine globally isn't unknown. You can find an Italian Pizzeria around every corner of almost every city in the United States. Not to forget that in every house, people enjoy mac and cheese as comfort food. But it would be wrong to believe that Italian food starts with pizza and ends with good pasta as this Mediterranean country has much more to offer other than these two dishes. In Italian Cuisine, there is a high use of fresh tomatoes, all kinds of herbs, great quality of cheese, all types of meat, seafood and fresh handmade pasta. Many find it hard to believe that Italians have been making noodles long back.

Italian and Greek cuisines are always mistaken to be same, but they are poles apart. The primary difference between the two cuisines is the use of cheese in most of the Italian dishes. Italians love to cultivate their own cheese and process them as per their food requirement. It is believed that some cheese is so expensive that cheese producers secure them in lockers.

If you are bored eating the same old pasta or pizza, you can try some of the authentic Italian dishes like Risotto, Polenta, Ribollita, Lasagna, Fiorentina Steak, Bottarga, Ossobuco, Carbonara, Focaccia, Arancini and Supplì. Another item which Italians love to relish every morning is a good cup of Italian Coffee. Once you taste a freshly brewed cup of Italian Coffee, you might not visit Starbucks ever again. Authentic Italian food is made with heart and soul, so go find a restaurant where you can relish Italian cuisine in your city.
